DÉJÀ-VU
The Déjà-Vu Chair was designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Magis.
The Italian design brand was established in 1976 and is based near Venice. Its collaborations with top international designers including Ron Arad and Philippe Starck have gained the company widespread recognitions. Its products are simple, elegant and above all, functional. The Déjà-Vu Chair by Fukasawa is an outstanding example of its commitment to the creation of pieces that combine quality with artistic beauty.
Japanese industrial designer Fukasawa has worked with many famous Japanese and international brands. His CD player for Japanese utility brand MUJI is part of a permanent exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. A graduate of Tama Art University, Fukasawa has developed a number of outstanding pieces for Magis including this elegant and original chair. The Déjà-Vu Chair is deceptively simple at first glance. However, its exceptional quality and masterful construction make it an excellent addition to any living space. Soft curves and elegant proportions give the chair an element of sophistication that adds to its appeal. It stands 79 cm in height with a seat height of 46 cm. This versatile chair is 44 cm in width and 40 cm in length.
